Nicola Ayoub is a French-American dancer and choreographer living and working in Paris since September 2005. She trained and performed at the Atlanta Ballet. Then at age 17, completely frustrated with the world of classical ballet, Nicola swore she would never dance again. She plunged madly into her studies and obtained two B.A.s in History and Art History at the University of Georgia. But in the end her passion for dance won over. At age 23 she started her career as a professional modern dancer first working with Full Radius Dance in Atlanta and then in Paris.

She became a choreographer with her bilingual one-woman show The Language, which was awarded Paris Jeunes Talents in 2008 and first place at the Parisian choreography contest Tobina in 2009. Nicola continues to enrich the show through her experiences and performances throughout France, the USA, and the Philippines. Since 2009, Nicola has mixed her passion for rock'n'roll and dance with the Nigerian singer Asa at the mythic Olympia Music Hall and with Guillaume Morgan at the Scene Bastille. The later became her artistic collaborator in the creation of solos and duos. In 2010 and 2011, she performed and taught regularly at La Sorbonne University in Paris. She toured Milan, Berlin, New York City, and Seville as choreographer and dancer for the events' agency the Public Système. Nicola represented the USA in UNESCO’s 2011 original production, Astro-Ballet, choreographed by Natalia Guslistaya from the Bolshoi Ballet. Between 2012 and 2014, she danced for Alexandre de la Caffinière, Gigi Caciuleanu, Alexandra Bansch, and Christopher Williams.

Since 2012 Nicola partnered with fellow dancer/choreographer Asha Thomas has worked for Africa Regional Services touring the Gambia, Benin, Burkina Faso, and Togo. This department of the US Embassy based in Paris sends American Artists to diverse African countries to perform and lead cultural outreach programs. Recently Nicola and the singer Keri Chryst created and led a 15 day "Song and Dance" workshop for St. Denis' troubled youth. They continue the collaboration in Djibouti working with young artists on the television show Jeunes Talents. In March 2014, Nicola taught at Steps Dance Studio in Manila, the Philippines and performed her show The Language. In 2015 she sets off on tour again teaching and performing throughout Africa and the Philippines.

Nicola Ayoub, danseuse et chorographe Franco-Américaine, vit et travaille à Paris depuis Septembre 2005. Elle a été formée à l’Atlanta Ballet. Nicola continue à l’enrichir, au gré de ses expériences et de ses représentations, en France, aux Etats-Unis et aux Philippines. Depuis 2009, Nicola a mixé ses passions pour le rock’n’roll et la danse, à l’Olympia avec Asa et à la Scène Bastille avec Guillaume Morgan. Ce dernier est devenu son collaborateur artistique pour l'écriture de solos (La Nymphe) et de duos. En 2010 et 2011, elle a enseigné et présenté ses pièces dans des conférences dansées et spectacles à la Sorbonne, Université Paris IV. Elle est partie en tournée d'évènementiels (Milan, Berlin, New York, Paris et Séville) comme chorographe et interprète pour le Public Système. Elle a représenté les Etats-Unis dans la production originale de l’UNESCO, Astro-Ballet (2011), chorégraphiée par Natalia Guslistaya, issue du Bolshoi. Entre 2012 et 2014, Nicola a dansé pour Alexandre de la Caffinière, Gigi Caciuleanu, Alexandra Bansch et Christopher Williams.

Depuis 2012, Nicola part régulièrement travailler en Afrique (Gambie, Bénin, Burkina Faso et Togo) avec sa partenaire Asha Thomas grâce aux projets d'Africa Regional Services. Ce département de l'ambassade américaine, basé à Paris, envoie les artistes américains animer des programmes culturels pour des publics divers. Récemment Nicola et la chanteuse Keri Chryst ont créé et animé un stage "Song and Dance" pour des adolescents en difficulté à Saint-Denis. Elle continue son travail avec Keri à Djibouti pour l'émission de télévision Jeunes Talents. En mars 2014, Nicola a enseigné à Steps Dance Studio à Manille et présenté son spectacle The Language. En 2015 elle repart en tournée partout en Afrique et aux Philippines.
